About MSK

Amateur Shotokan Karate Association (ASKA) was formed by Sensei Sahans under which Sensei Gill began teaching (1980) for Hounslow Shotokan Karate Club (HSKC). Sensei Gill then went on to form his own club in 1986 and established the Middlesex Shotokan Karate Association (MSK) based at Hounslow Manor School.

MSK continued to grow with many clubs being run across numerous venues in the Hounslow borough along with a multitude of students. A great deal of these students achieved their Dan grades of which Sensei Gill feels particularly proud.
Middlesex Shotokan Karate Association has become a community where the students and Senseis are able to support and assist each other’s development. Sensei Gill is enjoying a thoroughly rewarding journey through his dedication and commitment to the martial art and has the pleasure of sharing his Karate-Do way of life with two generations of his family.

“The ultimate aim of karate lies not in victory nor defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants”
